How the AI writing assistant works
- Open the app and choose Article in the Generators group at the top of the model list, after Image.
- Pick ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok. A blank article chat opens with its controls in the welcome message.
- Set the article type, length, audience, tone, language, SEO keywords and research level. Your browser remembers the settings.
- Write the brief, paste source text, or attach a file. Press Generate when the brief is ready.
- Review the article card, then download DOCX, Markdown or HTML. You can also print the article to PDF.
Attachments can include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, images, Markdown, code or ZIP files. The generator structures the material you give it. It does not look up an attachment or replace it with another source.
Blog post generator
Choose Blog for an article built around a clear subject and reader. Give the generator a position, source material and any points that must appear. That produces a firmer draft than a broad request with no editorial direction.
How-to guides
The How-to type turns a process into ordered instructions. State what the reader starts with and what a successful result looks like. If the task depends on current software or public facts, add web research rather than relying on the model's memory.
Reviews
Use Review when the draft needs criteria, evidence and a verdict. Attach your notes or data so the article reflects what you actually tested. An AI writer cannot supply first-hand experience that was never in the brief.
News pieces
The News setting gives the draft a direct lead and a reporting structure. Turn on research when the piece depends on current events, and open the cited pages before publication. The generator is a writing tool; editorial verification still belongs to the author.
Landing page sections
Choose Landing section for focused website copy rather than a full article. Name the product, audience, offer and action you want the reader to take. This mode is useful for one substantial section, not a complete site.
Short, medium or long
The length control offers short at about 500 words, medium at about 1,200 words and long at about 2,500 words. These are targets, since the final count also depends on the brief and source material. A long setting gives the subject room; it does not make a thin idea more useful.
Research on the web and deep research
Research has three settings: None, Check facts on the web and Deep research. The middle setting looks up claims that need current support. Deep research spends longer gathering material and costs more, so use it when the article rests on several sources rather than one factual check.
Research results include sources for the writer to inspect. A citation is a trail back to the page, not proof that the draft interpreted it correctly. Open the source and check the claim before publishing.
SEO keywords, meta title and description
Add SEO keywords when the article must answer a known search. The generator uses them in context and returns a proposed meta title and description with the draft. Keywords guide the subject; they should not be repeated where the sentence does not need them.
Audience, tone and language
The audience field is open text, so you can name a job, level of knowledge or reason for reading. Tone can be expert, casual or formal. Choose the output language separately, or write the request in that language and let the result follow it.
These controls make the draft easier to direct, but they do not replace an editorial brief. Include the claims, examples and boundaries that matter. The model can then spend its effort on the draft rather than guessing your position.
DOCX, Markdown or HTML
Download the article as DOCX, Markdown or HTML. The files are built in your browser and the result also stays in the Articles section of the Library. Use the browser's print command when you need a PDF.
Which model writes the article
Choose ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok. The selected family's router assigns a fast tier to a plain request, a flagship tier to harder work and a search tier when the web is needed. The Article generator opens on ChatGPT by default, and DeepSeek is not offered for generators.
You can run the same brief through another family when you want a different draft. Ordinary chats with these model families can also build an article card and offer an Edit in Article button with the original settings.
What it costs
The Article generator uses credits on paid models. Web checks cost extra, and deep research is slower and costs more. The exact charge is shown below every answer; see the pricing page for packs and subscriptions.
Privacy, stated honestly
We store nothing on our side: no archive of chats or files, and the task row exists only while the answer is produced. Articles, attachments and settings remain in your own browser. There is no server-side gallery or article history.
No profile or chat is ever associated with you. The provider receives a stranger's request, and your email is used only for account access and payment. We never use your work for training.
Secret Chat AI removes you from your queries — it does not remove the data from your messages. The brief and every attachment are sent verbatim to the model provider you choose. Remove names and identifiers when the article does not need them.
