Refund Method
Approved refunds are normally returned using the original payment method where technically possible.
For card payments, approved refunds are processed through the card payment provider, Creem (creem.io), where available.
For crypto payments, approved refunds may be processed through Volet.com or another method selected by Secret Chat, depending on technical availability, compliance checks, provider limitations, and applicable law.
Refunds are calculated based on the original USD purchase amount, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Crypto network fees, blockchain transaction fees, provider fees, and exchange-rate differences may not be refundable unless required by applicable law.
Crypto Payment Issues
The customer must use the official crypto checkout flow provided on the Secret Chat website.
Secret Chat may be unable to automatically verify or refund payments if:
- the customer sends cryptocurrency to the wrong address;
- the customer uses the wrong blockchain network;
- the customer sends an incorrect amount;
- the customer sends payment outside the official checkout flow;
- the payment expires before completion;
- the transaction cannot be matched to an order.
If this happens, the customer should contact [email protected] with the order reference, transaction hash, payment date, amount, currency, and any payment screenshots.
