The AI avatar generator in Secret Chat AI makes a square profile picture from a description or a photo you provide. Choose the Avatar preset on any generating model, describe the person or character, and the preset takes care of the basic composition. You can draw one result or several variants, then download the picture from its card.

What the Avatar preset does
Open the Image Generator settings and set Preset to Avatar. It chooses a 1:1 aspect ratio and places a short brief before your description: a head-and-shoulders portrait, centered, with a clean background, composed to read well as a small profile picture. The model receives that brief plus your words. The chat shows the description you wrote.
Square is the shape every profile picture field wants. It avoids an awkward crop when a service displays the image inside a circle, and it leaves enough room around the head for small interfaces. The preset provides that practical frame without deciding the person, clothes, expression, colors, or visual style for you.
Create an avatar from a description
A description can be short: “a friendly astronomer in a navy sweater, illustrated with flat colors.” For more control, name the expression, camera angle, lighting, palette, and background. This profile picture maker can create a fictional character, a mascot, or a stylized version of a role rather than a real person.
Style words make a large difference. Ask for illustrated, pixel art, painterly, ink, clay, or photo-like work. Add the detail that matters most instead of piling up adjectives. “Warm window light and a calm expression” gives the model a clearer direction than a long string of broad quality words.
Any generating model can use the Avatar preset. GPT Image models are strong when the picture must follow detailed instructions or contain legible text. Grok Imagine is useful when you want many alternatives quickly. Nano Banana keeps the controls simple, while Seedream and Qwen add their own style options. Trying one prompt on two models often produces more useful variety than repeatedly forcing one model toward a look it does not favor.
Make an AI avatar from your photo
Attach a portrait with the paperclip, or press the Edit pencil beneath a picture already in the chat. Choose Avatar and describe the treatment: “paint this as a soft editorial illustration,” “turn this into clean pixel art,” or “make a photo-like profile portrait with a pale gray background.” The supported image-to-image models use the attached face and composition as their starting point.
An avatar generator from photo redraws the image. It does not lock every facial measurement. Likeness may be close, but it is not guaranteed, and small features can move between variants. If the result needs to be recognizably you, compare the eyes, face shape, hairline, and distinctive details before using it. A simpler style can sometimes preserve the overall identity better than an elaborate transformation.
You may see this kind of tool described as an AI headshot generator. Here, that name needs a qualification: the app can create a polished, photo-like avatar, but it is not a headshot studio with guaranteed realism, consistent wardrobe, or exact likeness across a set. We also do not offer face-swapping into photos of other people who did not consent.
Transparent cut-out avatars
Choose GPT Image Flare or GPT Image Sunburst and switch on Transparent background when you want the person without a fixed backdrop. The result is a PNG with alpha, shown over a checkerboard in chat. You can place that cut-out over a colored circle, card, slide, or website background without a white square around it.
Transparency is generated as part of the image. For an existing avatar, the eraser button beneath the picture asks GPT Image Flare to redraw it without the background. This is an AI edit, so strands of hair, glasses, and fine edges may change. Check the full-size PNG rather than judging only the small preview.
Generate several profile pictures at once
Use Variants when you want a set to compare. GPT Image and Grok Imagine can return up to 10 variants from one description. Seedream and Qwen can return up to 4. Nano Banana returns 1. More variants are useful while choosing a character design, expression, or color scheme; one careful result is usually enough when you are making a small change to a photo you already like.
The standard result downloads as JPEG. A transparent result downloads as PNG. Keep the square original even when a service displays it as a circle, since the service normally applies that crop itself.
What it costs

Privacy, stated honestly
We store nothing on our side: there is no archive of chats or pictures, and generated pictures live in your browser. There is no personal profile, no chat is associated with you, and the request reaches the model provider as a stranger's; your email is used only for account access and payment. Your material is never used for training.
Secret Chat AI removes you from your queries — it does not remove the data from your messages. An uploaded photo goes to the chosen provider verbatim, so leave out identifying material you do not want that provider to process.
